What does a typical day look like?
As a Cavalry Healthcare support worker, your day will vary depending on the needs of the individual you support, but every moment will be focused on empowering them to live with dignity, independence, and purpose.
For complex care...
For supported living care...
- Morning: You may assist with clinical needs such as PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, or administering medication while ensuring the individual feels comfortable and confident.
- Midday: Supporting daily routines such as mobility assistance, personal care, or attending medical appointments, always with compassion and expertise.
- Afternoon: Monitoring health conditions, offering companionship, and helping with activities that enhance their quality of life.
- Morning: Helping individuals with autism or behavioural challenges start their day, providing structure, and encouraging independence.
- Midday: Assisting with daily activities such as meal preparation, hobbies, or trips into the community to build social connections.
- Afternoon: Offering consistent, calm support during moments of challenging behaviour and creating an environment of trust and understanding.
Your role is tailored to the unique needs of the individual, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and empowered every step of the way.
